Dr. Yiota’s Perspectives

"My purpose is to find a balance between mental, emotional, and spiritual health, as well as general wellness. I do this by challenging and changing habits or behaviors that ruin and destroy our overall happiness and well-being. These instances ultimately interfere with our personal relationship with God.

Each of us has a 'treasure chest' of life experiences, knowledge, and if we are mature enough, we have learned wisdom. What's inside of and stored in the treasure chest? Let's search for any significance in it if such exists. Life is too short and precious to struggle even one day with unhappiness, indecision, and despair. There is a reason for all things good and bad in our lives even if we can't see it today. Together, let's work towards a life understanding, purpose, and meaning.

I have always been both personally and professionally captivated by health and wellness topics, and in my many years as a counselor and therapist I have learned that there is truth to thinking that mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and even financial health go hand-in-hand. My passion is helping others find that big 'AH-HA' moment when they connect those aspects of their lives together."
